The chair, or bench if you will, is really handsome and handcrafted in India from a type of wood called Sheesham. The type of wood resembles is also called Indian rosewood or rosewood and each piece of furniture has its own unique grain. Here we can really talk about a beautiful craft where chisels, handsaws and planes are the most common tools. The seat is made of water buffalo, the tame Indian variant where insect bites and scars remain in the leather, which contributes to the character of the furniture. The product is of very good quality and since each piece of furniture is handmade, it is completely unique in its own right, but due to the type of wood and the craftsmanship, certain measurements and color changes may occur.
